Early Retirement Notification deadline looming...If you are a certificated teacher and you are planning to retire at the end of the 2011-2012 school year, you must have your blue separation of service form turned in to HR by 2.13.12 in order to receive your additional benefits. Explanation on pg. 79, lines 38-41 in the CFT CBA.

Job Share Deadline - Friday, February 17, 2012. Teachers planning to job share, must have all approved paperwork submitted and time stamped in Human Resources by 4:00 pm on Friday, February 17, 2012. If you have any questions about job sharing, contact the CFT Office at 513-961-2272. |
| Teachers - There is NO SCHOOL on February 17. This is a release day in return for the equivalent of two 1/2 days of parent/team conferences. See pg 32 Section 220, Records/Conference Days in your CBA. |

Cultural Competency and Parent Engagement Training - Promoting Cultural Responsiveness for District Personnel presented by Woven Traditions - Two Mayerson Academy courses will be offered during the second semester.

District Email - Just a reminder - every email that you send or receive on the district's network is kept on file as a public document for seven years. Please use caution whenever you send an email using GroupWise and never send an email that you would not want published on the front page of the paper. Evenif you delete and email, empty the trash; it is still on the server. Also, if you open your private email account using the district server the district can view your account while it is open. |
EARLY NOTIFICATION of RETIREMENT Date Announced -
February 13, 2012 is the deadline date that any contract teacher must submit a Separation of Service Form (blue) to HR. This form may be obtained from your school office or by contacting HR at 363-0130. The form needs to be signed by your principal or supervisor and sent or hand delivered to HR by 2-13-12. |
Membership Cards - The membership cards for CFT Members (not ACPSOP) have been sent either to your BR or to your home address. If you did not receive your new 2011-2013 membership card. Contact the CFT Office. |

If you are classified as a substitute (daily or long term) with the Board of Education, you must fill our a green membership card every school year to return to full member status.
